Police Looking For Information On Caylee's Father

Orange County is using a postmortem blood sample for a Jose Ortiz to determine whether or not he is the father of Caylee Anthony. He died at 21 in a car crash and the blood sample was taken as part of a investigation into the crash. The police went door to door looking for friends and relatives earlier today.
"I've never heard that name before," Cindy Anthony told Eyewitness News.
Ortiz's family didn't know that he could be the father either.
"The father? No," family members told Eyewitness News Monday. So now there are more innocent people who have been dragged into this nightmare.
Investigators are trying to figure out if Ortiz is the father, or if this is a lie to cover up the fact that Casey Anthony doesn't know who her daughter's father is. One of many lies that Casey has told.
Update: A source close to the case says the State Attorney's office sent an offer to Anthony's attorney and offered to discuss the possibility of limited immunity. If the defense were to agree, the deal would likely keep her words from being used against her but would not protect her from any other information that investigators then dug up and potentially could in a criminal case.
Her lawyer also says that there has been an offer. I think that this just means that the DNA is back, and now they have other proof. They aren't going to let a suspected child murderer go.
