Is John McCain going to choose the very likable Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska as his running mate? Is he going to choose a woman when Obama did not. But it must be pointed out that Hillary Clinton is not very likable. Is he courting Hillary's angry voters? Is he choosing someone young to counter Obama's youth. And is he choosing someone for whom the abortion issue isn't just a concept, but something real that she lives with every day. Earlier this year Governor Palin gave birth to a baby with Down Syndrome because she held to her anti-abortion beliefs after receiving prenatal test results. Is he choosing someone from a working class family to counter his background? We will have to wait a couple of hours to find out.
Update: He picked her. Smart man. I think who ever is elected president, we will be better off.
