Casey went to her lawyer's office on Friday. She has to prepare for her trial. Because she's going to go to jail. It may not be for murder, but it will still be prison. Remember those child endangerment charges, oh and the lying to police. So sooner or later it is off to jail she will go. Does she really think that any jury is going to listen to how she "conducted" her month long search before her mother went to police and not convict her. And Padilla boasted that he could get information on Caylee's whereabouts in a week. Well it's day three. What happened? Jose Baez won't let Casey talk to him. She's had her shower, painted her nails, and spent time on the couch...when is she going to give up the information that leads to Caylee's safe return. And how come nothing ever comes of the "tips" that the Anthony family are getting at their home and on their cell phones?
And somebody should tell Leonard Padilla that drug dealers and such don't take kids as collateral on debts in real life. Kids are too much upkeep. You have to feed them, bathe them on occasion, and entertain them.
Caylee may be dead. Caylee may never be found. And Casey may never spend a day in jail for her murder. But she will always be shunned as a murderer. Sooner or later her family will wake up and see through the lies. Then she will share the fate of Lizzie Borden, sentenced to a lifetime alone because everyone knows what a jury did not.
