This morning is the deadline for Casey to take the limited immunity deal. She should be running to take the deal, or else she may end up in the lethal injection chamber. She needs to be seen as helping the police in order to save her skin at sentencing.
Police are now saying on the record that they believe Caylee is dead.
"We have scientific evidence back from the FBI lab,” Commander Matt Irwin with the Orange County Sheriffs Office said. “We have other evidence we have not yet released publicly, all of that evidence at this point in its totality leads us to believe Caylee is deceased."
Sooner or later they will be arresting Casey for murder. If she's going to try to save herself, now is the time. But I don't think she will do it. She doesn't care about consequences. And it seems that Jose Baez is just using her to further her career, or maybe he is just a bad lawyer. We all know that he isn't going to get paid for all the time he has put into this case.
Caylee Anthony was writing and sending emails to a twelve year old girl, Dakota Skii, when she was out of jail. Dakota organized a vigil in St. Cloud. The little girl was so distraught when DNA results were released that she had to be hospitalized for stress related issues. Her grandmother, Lois Peter, contacted the press about the relationship and then the police. She called Cindy Anthony to tell the family about Dakota's hospitalization.
"I heard Casey in the background, and she was crying. I was like, 'Yeah, Casey. Just tell us what happened to Caylee,'" Peter said.
Casey Anthony sent Skii an e-mail on Thursday night, saying, "If you need anything, I'll do anything I can, and more."Skii also received a bracelet with the words "my friend, my sister" from Casey Anthony.
A hand-written note sent to Skii from Casey Anthony said:"Hey Sweetie! I can't thank you enough for everything you have done for my family. I am really looking forward to seeing you. We will schedule something very soon, I promise. I would love to have you spend the night, and spend time getting to know each other. You are such an amazing girl and already a true friend. We are so blessed to have you and your Mom in our lives. I love you. Thank you for my gift (a stuffed animal), I named him after you. I will see you soon. Love, Casey"
Casey is showing more concern for Dakota Skii than she has shown for her own daughter. And Dakota's family maybe needs to keep a better eye on her. The hospitalization sounds like she gets overly involved in what happens in the press. What will it be next, a nervous breakdown when one of the Jonas Brothers admits he isn't a virgin. I hate to seem mean, but something just doesn't seem right about that little girl.
