I was dropping my oldest son off at school this morning when I notice a group, a large group actually, gathered around the flag pole. There always there rain or shine, and a few minutes before school they pray.
I actually think it's really cool. When I was in high school you never would have seen a group of students openly gathering to pray. They would have been teased. Kids these days have so much more freedom to be themselves And it's not just the freedom to be right wing liberals (And I am relatively liberal, so don't think this is being written by a neo-conservative. If there is a heaven, I more than likely won't be getting in.), but the freedom to be religious and conservative, and not be ridiculed.
