Caylee Anthony Update 24 September

The Florida States Attorney's Office has released almost 600 more pages of discovery documents (here is the pdf link). It details the lies that Casey had been telling for the month before she reported her daughter (well the month before Cindy reported her missing). And the babysitter disappeared with my daughter story had a different variation in the beginning. She says she dropped Caylee off for a month while she went out to hunt for a job. But all of the child's things were left at the Anthony home.

And Casey was admitting to her friends that the car smelled like something had died in there. She told her friend Amy Huizenga that her father had probably run over a squirell.

Casey was also jealous of the relationship between Caylee and Cindy. Cindy more like Caylee's mother than grandmother. And right before Casey disappeared with the little girl, Cindy was threatening to take custody of the little girl because Casey was an unfit mother.

It also has Anthony Lazzaro's statement. Anthony was Casey's last boyfriend before she went to jail, and she had been living with him for that missing month. Anthony Lazzaro has not made any public statements.

• He says Casey would wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat and say she was having nightmares.
• He had to take Casey home one night because Cindy Anthony would not allow her to stay over at his apartment.

On July 15, when Cindy Anthony and Amy Huizenga came to Lazzaro's apartment to find Casey, Lazzaro said there was a knock at the door and he said "Come in." "And there was Amy just standing there with a miserable face and we were, we were both confused," he said.

Anthony went outside, and about a half-hour later, she and Cindy came to the door, Casey stormed in and looked like she was in tears.

"Uhm, and her mom said, 'Get your things. Let, you're, you're coming with me.' And Casey said, 'No, I'm coming back.'"

Lazzaro said he had never met Casey's mother until that point, and so he said hello. Cindy Anthony responded " 'I hope you're rich because Casey's going to take all your money and leave you high and dry."

You have to wonder what was said in that half an hour. Did Casey tell her mother what happened to Caylee?
