Caylee Anthony Update 17 September

Casey Anthony has destroyed the life of Zenaida Fernadez-Gonzalez. Zenaida became trapped in the middle of this nightmare because Casey gave her name as Caylee's babysitter, and the fact that she looked at an apartment in the Sawgrass complex. But while Casey lives in the comfort of her own home, Zenaida is homeless and living in motel. She lost her job supervising a cleaning crew, because her boss didn't want the company associated with Caylee's disappearance. She's getting hate mail, and is afraid for her children. She was questioned by police, but quickly ruled out as a suspect. Casey couldn't identify a photo of the woman. But the damage was done.
"She doesn’t know how much damage she has done. Not only to me, that she has done to them, my children. They came out of me. I raised them by myself and now she is hurting them more than me," Gonzalez said.
There has to be some legal recourse for this poor woman. The Anthonys constant retelling of Casey's lie has to be slander. They knew it wasn't true, but kept on repeating the story. And they have the money to pay for body guards (who's protecting Zenaida and her children), pr firms, and countless lawyers, so they more than likely have the money to pay for at least this woman's loss wages.(Heck, Casey is acting like she's a celebrity these days.) People keeping coming up with the money to bail out Casey, but nobody is helping this innocent woman. And serving Casey Anthony with court papers shouldn't be so hard. Where does she go except to Jose Baez's office and jail. What are the bodyguards going to prevent the process server from serving court papers, probably not.
But in the end the legal system probably won't help Zenaida. It hasn't helped the Anthony neighbors. The courts ruled against the request for an injunction against the protesters. It's just another case where the courts protect the guilty while punishing the innocent.
