It's getting hard to tell who is crazier, Casey Anthony or Jose Baez. Casey Anthony is actually asking a judge to allow her to secretly travel to search for her missing daughter. Because you know that she believes that the brown people have taken her daughter somewhere like Puerto Rico. What do you think the odds that these secret trips will include stops at television studios for Casey to sell her story?
There are two reason this won't happen. I'll start with the simple reason. Casey is a selfish bitch. It would be nothing for her to jump bail. Casey doesn't care where Caylee is, so why should she care if her parents lose their home and everything they ever work for.
The second reason is that Casey is the main suspect in the disappearance. The judge will probably look and see that Casey has done nothing to help police look for Caylee. She didn't report her daughter missing for over a month. She wasn't the person who reported Caylee missing, the was Grandma Cindy. She tried to destroy evidence (she deleted all MySpace entries before 15 July according to Lee). And then there is the overwhelming fact that she lied to police.
The chances that the judge will grant this motion is nonexistent.
But Jose Baez, Casey's lawyer may be just as crazy. He wants access to Casey's car so that he can photograph and test it. He wants to know if anybody in Casey's circle has taken a lie detector test, and if they have he wants to test the machine. Then he wants information like Casey's phone and computer records, information on Zenaida Gonzalez, and training records for the investigators. He even wants the manifest of an Orlando-to-Atlanta flight where there was a Caylee sighting. That sighting was proven to be false when they couldn't find any video of Caylee in the airport.
I'm surprised that he hasn't asked for urine samples of the investigators. Baez thinks this case is going to make him a celebrity lawyer, when in reality it is just making him the punchline to a bad joke.
