Caylee Anthony Update 3 October

Casey Anthony has finally been named an official suspect in her daughter, Caylee's disappearance. What took them so long? Out here in the court of public opinion we have already found the liar guilty. We all looked at the facts that had been released in the case and thought, "There is no way that baby is still alive. And her mother is the only one lying. Maybe the mother did it."

Most children who are murdered are the victims of people who are close them. Little children are taught about stranger danger, but what nobody teaches them to watch their backs because Mommy might do them in. But that is more likely to happen than a child being stolen off the street.

So why it is taking so long for the police to arrest Casey. Well, let me take that back. They arrest Casey a lot, but never for what really matters. They could take in the evidence they have and get conviction. Because Caylee's little body may never show up. Casey has made sure of that. Casey and her lawyer, Jose Baez have held off the police long enough any trace of the little girl to disappear.

And Casey will never admit to harming the little girl. There is nothing for her to gain by doing so. She has convinced herself that she has done nothing wrong. She seems to enjoy lying. And even when caught in a lie will keep on telling it. You see the swagger when she leaves the house. She's Casey the star, in her oversized sunglasses and surrounded by handlers (Baez and brother Lee) and bodyguards. She's more famous than Paris Hilton right now. She is probably just waiting for the whole case to go away so that she can resume her life of partying without Cindy calling for her to come home and take care of her daughter.

So police need to stop playing word games (Is there really a difference between a suspect and a person of interest?), gather in their evidence, and make an arrest.
