The History Channel's The Works

The History Channel has a great new show and it's actually not about UFOs or Alaska.(Guess they were ahead of the curve on the Alaska obsession I guess.)The Works explains the how and why of everyday life. The hired a host, Daniel Wilson, who has a PhD. in robotics, but he is young and geeky in that hip way. And he seems genuinely excited about the shows he is hosting. I love this show and watch it every week, which is saying a lot considering that I can't remember when most of the shows I like come on television. I'm warning you now that some of the shows are about guns, tattoos and beer. So you may not want the kiddies to watch some of the shows, but the shows about sneakers and steel were great. And in the end all of the episodes are safe for children to watch. Thursdays at 10pm.
