Did Bristol Palin get pregnant while she was at home, too sick to go to school because she had mono?
The father of Bristol Palin's unborn baby has been identified as Levi Johnston, her hometown boyfriend. And the fact that she was pregnant wasn't actually a secret. Those in Wasilla knew of the pregnancy. And Levi's mother says the pair was planning to get married before Bristol got knocked up. And she was wearing an engagement ring at the rally right after the announcement.
I have a question. Who is going to support the pair? Are they going to be living on our dime in the vice president's residence? I don't have a problem with Bristol and her child living there, and her going to school. That's what happens in supportive families. But if they had a plan to marry, they should of had a plan to support themselves.
Levi will be joining the Palin family at the convention. He has to be seen as part of the perfect political family unit. But I think in the long run this boy is going to turn out to be an embarrassment. How is he going to fit in with political big shots? The boy is uneducated. He attended alternative school last year. For those of you who don't know, alternative school is where they send kids when they get in trouble. And MySpace is biting him in the butt. His entry was public until this weekend and the press got a hold of it. He description of himself is; 'I'm a f---kin' redneck who likes to snowboard and ride dirt bikes. But I live to play hockey. I like to go camping and hang out with the boys, do some fishing, shoot some s---t and just f---kin' chillin' I guess. Ya f---k with me I'll kick ass. " Imagine trying to fit Casey Aldridge in with Washington DC, and you see the Palin's dilemma. He sounds like a redneck who has watched too much BET. His MySpace page also said that he didn't want children. Too late for that. But that's what happens when you don't explain condom use to your kids. Heck, my oldest son has autism and we explained it to him.
And what kind of public relations team does the McCain campaign have. They should have yanked that MySpace page before the announcement was made. But I guess they are too old to realize that was the first place the press would go after finding out the boy's name. It's a shame. For the first time in all the years I've been voting, I felt like no matter who won it would be good for the country. Now not so much. McCain is old and Sarah Palin is starting to seem like her life is a little too out of control. It would be like having Lynn Spears leading the country. This is so sad, because I so wanted to like her.
