Andrea Curry-Demus is accused of murdering a woman and removing her child. Police are trying to identify the dead woman. But this is not the first time that Curry-Demus has tried to steal a baby after suffering a miscarriage. After suffering an earlier miscarriage in 1990, she attacked a woman who had just given birth and tried to steal her baby at knife point. Then the next day, she befriended the mother of a hospitalized newborn and stole that baby when the mother went home for the night. The baby was found unharmed at Curry-Demus' home the next day. She served seven years in prison and was on 10 years probation. You think that her family would have been on the look out for unusual behavior when she told them she was pregnant this time.
