A 2 month old baby was mauled to death in Tulsa, Oklahoma by the family's labrador puppy or pug. The baby had be left unattended in a room with the puppy. The baby died at the scene. Both his mother and grandmother were home at the time. The lab was put down at the request of the police.
Police have turned the case over to the local district attorney to determine if any charges will be charged. Wouldn't the baby have cried if he was being attacked by the dog? A pain cry is different from other cries. Why didn't someone check on him? And there are warning labels on swings about not leaving the child unattended in them. But nobody ever pays attention to those. What they should have paid attention to was the warning to never leave a child unattended with a pet.
