The Anthony family is claiming that a woman called Mrs. Anthony's cell phone and said that she had seen Caylee in New Jersey with a Hispanic woman. (Why do they always call the family and never the police?) They are telling the media that the police are focusing exclusively on Casey, and not even looking for the babysitter. According to the family, Casey is lying to police or not cooperating at all because of some unnamed threat. She wants the FBI brought in because the police won't do what she wants.
There is probably a reason the police don't want to do a sketch. Casey has nothing but lied to everyone. This sounds a little more like the Susan Smith story everyday. Casey's lies are tinged with racism. Even the message she sent to her daughter sounds like something that Susan would have said, "We love you stay strong, keep telling people, this is not my mommy and i want to be back with momma, Ci Ci and uncle Lee."
At least this time she thought to send a message to her daughter instead of being only interested in her boyfriend, Tony Lazarro.
I think that the family is protecting her so much because they want her story to be the truth. To stop and look objectively would be much too painful. I'm starting to feel sorry for the grandmother. She loved Caylee so much, you can tell that every time she speaks about her. And now she is torn between protecting Caylee or protecting Casey. Because at this point only one can be protected.
