I didn't vote for George Bush, and I am not a fan of his policies. But he is the living president I would invite to a cookout. I always say that I am too in awe of Jimmy Carter, I'm afraid Bill Clinton would try feeling me up, and that I wouldn't stop former President Bush if he tried feeling me up. But George Bush seems like he would be loads of fun. Just look at him at he Air Force Academy graduation.
I don't know why the graduates are so happy though. Iraq is probably in their future. In thirty years will presidential contenders be fighting over whether or not they went Iraq?

If you want to buy baby chick or ducklings, don't do it this week. Their price, and that of rabbits, go up the week before Easter. And they don't make good gifts, baby chicks die really easily, and they poop so much. The dying part is the worst. You've spent your time explaining to a child that Jesus rose from the dead, then you have to explain why the baby duck can't do it. Wait to get the fuzzy baby bird until they have forgotten about the Resurrection.

Caylee Anthony Posts 31 December

A private investigator working for Caylee Anthony's family says he was at the site where her remains where found, a month before investigators located the body. He says he videotaped the wooded area, and that the tape shows the toddler's body wasn't there at the time.

Now investigators want to know why he was there in the first place.

Private investigator Jim Hoover has been seen with a video camera before, but today the focus is on a videotape he says he recorded of this wooded area where Caylee Marie Anthony's remains were found about a month before they were found.

Investigators know the existence of the tape and want to look at all evidence that's available. Investigators also want to talk to the Anthony's private investigator, Dominic Casey, who works with Hoover. The defense wants to intervene because Casey used to work for the defense and attorney Jose Baez doesn't want him to divulge privileged information.

Baez says investigators won't let him sit in on the questioning, so he's asking the judge to appoint a special master to protect defense secrets if the private eye agrees to talk.
Investigators have tried to make arrangements with Mr. Casey to speak to him and he has not responded.

Tom Cruise Wants 10 Kids

Tom Cruise, who couldn't make it to son Connor's premiere (Probably because he was jealous. The boy's movie probably won't flop. It's all very Mommy Dearest.), wants 10 kids with Katie. Maybe he should start by paying attention to the two he adopted with Nicole Kidman, who also ignores her old family for the new one.

In an exclusive interview with The Sun, the Hollywood superstar talks about how he loves being a father and why the 16-year age gap with his third wife Katie Holmes is not a problem.

Tom grins: “I want ten children. I love kids. I feel really fortunate to have the teenagers and a two and a half-year-old. It’s a great dynamic.”

The star adopted two children with his second wife NICOLE KIDMAN, Isabella, now 16, and 13-year-old Connor.

Tom and Katie — pictured earlier this month showing the strains of her gruelling Broadway schedule — became parents together when Suri was born in 2006. And his youngest is clearly a great joy to him.

Of Suri, he says: “She’s so charming, she’s so beautiful, she’s just great.”

The hard-working actor, 46, is often seen out with Suri and Katie. And he tries to make sure he spends as much time as possible with his kids.

It is, he admits, a reaction to being brought up without a father figure from the age of 12.

His dad — Thomas Cruise Mapother III — split from his mother Mary at that time.

Tom says: “I’m a great parent. I want to be with my kids, and they get to do all the stuff that I wanted to do when I was growing up.

“My own father wasn’t there much for me and I want to be a different dad to my kids. My family is the most important thing in my life.”

And his divorce from Nicole Kidman has not affected his relationship with their adopted children, he insists, adding: “Nic and I are very committed and successful in sharing the parenting.” (Is that why they seem to live with his sister?)

It seems the screen idol is making it third time lucky with Batman Begins star Katie, 30.

With typical Cruise enthusiasm, he pays huge compliments to her, saying: “Married life is very good, very lovely. I feel lucky to have Kate as my wife. She’s an extraordinary woman. She is funny and smart and she likes the same things that I do.

“She’s a very strong, gracious woman, and a great comedian.

“I like doing romantic things, such as bringing flowers and surprising her with things. I love candlelit evenings with nice music.”

Trim and remarkably young looking for a man in his mid-forties (Plastic surgery will do that for you.), Tom reckons he is more than able to keep up with his young wife.

Commenting on the age gap, he says: “If I’m worried about anything, it’s if she can keep up with me. I’m very active.”

For Tom it really was a case of love at first sight when he met Katie in 2005.

He reveals: “A couple of hours after meeting her, I thought, ‘I’m going to marry this woman.’ I just knew.” That marriage took place in November 2006 in Bracciano, Italy.

Despite being the most famous actor of his generation, and married to a famous actress, Tom claims he is able to live a “normal life” and says his family are rarely bothered by intrusive photographers.

He adds: “The paparazzi? They are trying at times but it’s rare that it happens. I try not to stay isolated because it’s not good for us and the kids. It’s important for us to get to know new people.

“I go to the children’s groups like other daddies.

“At first people look at me like, ‘My God, it’s him!’ and they treat me a little differently.

“But then they realise I’m just a father with my kids. It’s up to me to make everybody else feel okay about the fact that I’m there, and then everything just goes on.”

When he is not acting or looking after the kids, Tom has plenty of hobbies to keep him occupied.

We know how the Sun got the interview... by promising to suck up.

Favorite Posts of 2008- Why Mothers Kill To Be Free

I found a really interesting article on why mothers will kill their children to be "free" or to be with a man. Investigation Discovery enrolled the help of criminal profiler Dr. Deborah Schurman-Kauflin, President of the Violent Crimes Institute, LLC, to explain why Casey Anthony would act the way she is. Well, she also explained what could turn a mom into a child killer.

"Women who kill their children tend to be very needy. They need attention and an outlet for their frustrations," Dr. Schurman-Kauflin said. "Being self absorbed is common. Over time, the responsibility of raising children becomes frightening to them. They do not feel mature enough to handle their own lives, let alone the lives of little ones. So they begin to revert as a form of saying 'I can't take this.' In other words, they become child-like. Prior to killing, they begin slipping into increasingly outlandish behaviors. It is a twisted form of a cry for help. So, instead of staying home with the children and working on becoming more emotionally stable, they engage in teenager type behaviors. They have affairs and quit their jobs. Going out at a moment's notice becomes routine and they withdraw from their children."

Once they start withdrawing, Dr. Schurman-Kauflin said, they begin to lose themselves in fantasy - thinking about what their lives were like before they had children.

"I coined a term in 1999, when I interviewed female serial killers and mass murderers. This term is a White Picket Fence Fantasy. Women who kill tend to long for a knight to come to their rescue and take care of them. This fantasy plays repeatedly in their minds. When they have to break from their fantasies and actually tend to their children, the burdens of being mothers become overwhelming, and they just want out. It is here that Instead of feeling love for their flesh and blood, they feel anger. Everything that has gone wrong becomes the fault of the child."

  • "If only that child had not been born"
  • "If only she had the freedom to live her life"
  • "If only..."

According to Dr. Schurman-Kauflin, those questions eventually turn into an obsession and in time the mother will only think of what she wants.

"These thoughts haunt her until one day, something stressful happens," Dr. Schurman-Kauflin said. "Usually, it involves the breakup of a relationship or the introduction of a new lover who finds children unappealing. Females who kill their children tend to see themselves as being very sensual and attractive, and being discarded is too much for them to bear. It does not match with the idealized self that they have created in their minds. So they begin to think of ways to have the lover. They cannot allow a threat to their self image, so they take steps to quell the increasing internal discord. The females project the rejection onto the children and come to believe that if the children were not there, then life would be good. This is the point where plans are made to murder the little obstacles."

Britney Spears Needs To Leave Dancers Alone

According to The Mirror, Britney Spears hasn't learned her lesson. You think that after her relationship with Kevin Federline she would stay away from dancers, but no.

Britney Spears has dated some fast movers and now she’s been swept off her feet by another – a Bollywood dance instructor.

The Toxic star has been seeing Sandip Soparrkar, who choreographed her raunchy Womanizer video.

Britney, 27, even flew to Jodhpur for a romantic three-day Christmas break with Sandip who is a pin-up in his native India.

The couple, who have been dating for three weeks, exchanged homemade pressies under the tree.

Our source reveals: “It’s early days but their romance is going from strength to strength.

“Britney and Sandip tried to keep their reunion in India hush-hush as they’re determined to have a relationship just like any other couple.

Sandip is very down to earth and keeps Britney grounded. He’s also quite spiritual and sensitive, which is a side of him she adores.

“For Christmas, Sandip – or Sandy as Britney calls him – presented her with a traditional Indian sari. She wore it during a candlelit dinner.

“The pair were whispering and giggling all night. Sandy ordered local delicacies including chicken tikka and a cottage cheese curry. Britney was nicking the dough balls from his plate. It was really cute.”

Britney, who met Sandip at a party thrown by Madonna earlier this year, is spending the New Year back in LA. And Sandy may jet over to see in 2009 with her.

Her latest love is a far cry from her badboy exes, who include ex hubby Kevin Federline, Brit snapper Adnan Ghalib and Irish playboy Colin Farrell.

In contrast, the only bad habit clean-cut Sandy is passing on to Britney is a love of sugar.

The smitten star took home 3kg of churma – Indian nutmeg cakes – for her two sons. Ahh, how sweet!

Caylee Anthony Update 30 December

Casey Anthony's lawyer Jose Baez has filed a new motion Monday.

He is afraid detectives are trying to get privileged information about the case from a private detective who used to work for his defense team, so he's asking a judge to intervene.

He is asking the judge to appoint a "special master" to oversee any questioning of the private investigator by law enforcement.

The private eye is a familiar face to insiders. He's Dominic Casey, who early on worked for Baez. Then in October, George and Cindy Anthony hired him to follow up on live sightings of Caylee Anthony.

Baez said law enforcement is now showing an interest in questioning Casey Anthony and he wants to make sure they don't get any privileged information he may have learned while working for Baez.

Meanwhile, a new reward is being offered to meter reader Roy Kronk for finding the bag of skeletal remains that were determined to belong to missing Caylee Anthony.

According to Kronk's lawyer, George and Cindy Anthony's one-time representative Mark NeJame has contacted him regarding a $5,000 reward, which represents the amount of money NeJame made while serving as the Anthony family's representative. For now, it's unclear whether Kronk will accept the offer.

Initially, Crimeline said Roy Kronk was not eligible for a cash reward from them because he called 911 the day he found Caylee's remains.

A source within Crimeline now said things could be different. They're checking to try to confirm that Kronk called them during the same three days in August he called sheriff's headquarters to report something suspicious along Suburban Drive.

More than two weeks after Kronk discovered Caylee's remains along Suburban Drive, a memorial still draws people by the dozens.

Those who have followed the case closely have different opinions on whether Kronk deserves a reward.

"I think he should be rewarded, definitely," Aida Ramos said.

"If they think they found something, they should call it in," Jennifer Tice said. "That's all there is to it."

Tice said doing a good deed should not include an expectation of a cash reward.

"I don't think somebody should be rewarded for that," Tice said. "I mean, that's a child who is missing. That's common sense."

In his only statement to reporters, Kronk confirmed that he reported his suspicions four months before discovering the remains.

"I had previously reported to Crimeline and the sheriff's office that I had spotted something suspicious -- a bag in that same area," Kronk said.

Kronk's lawyer told WESH 2 that money is not Kronk's main motivation. But if he qualifies, at the very least, Kronk should receive a Crimeline reward.

When asked why Kronk deserved the reward, NeJame said, "I think Kronk is beyond deserving. Without him, who knows when Caylee would have been found."

Anthonys Expected To Be Candid With Investigators Regarding Casey

The Anthonys face the wrenching task of burying Caylee early in the New Year, but then, sources tell said, George, Cindy and Lee Anthony will be asked to play a pivotal role in holding Casey Anthony accountable or else.

As one investigator put it, "They're going to be asked to help convict her."

If the Anthonys are not candid and truthful, sources said, it may come to obstruction of justice charges against one or more of them.

Medical examiner Jan Garavaglia said it's unlikely they'll ever be able to determine a definitive cause of death, but sources said toxicology tests done on Caylee's hair will "give us clues in that direction."

The duct tape found on Caylee's skull proves what some of WESH 2’s sources close to the investigation have suspected about her death all along -- "It wasn't an accident."

Another aspect some insiders find haunting, is how close to the Anthony home Caylee's remains had been dumped.

WESH 2's sources said they simply gave Casey Anthony "far too much credit" that she would have done something more elaborate with her daughter's body.

Sources confirmed they do not suspect Roy Kronk, the meter reader who found the bag of Caylee’s remains, of playing any sort of sinister role in the case.

Lee Anthon, Casey Anthony's brother, has hired his own attorney.

Orlando attorney Tom Luka has been a vocal critic of alleged Taser gun misuse by local police.

He has filed multiple lawsuits on behalf of people who claim to have been harmed by the controversial stun weapons.

Just give the man a reward. If it wasn't for him Caylee would still be laying out in the woods like the trash. If nothing else he is saving everybody the money they would have to spend searching for Caylee. Who cares if he called 911. Isn't that what you are supposed to do if you suspect their is a body laying about.

Bristol Palin Has Given Birth

Bristol Palin, future daughter in law of a drug criminal, has given birth to her baby. And she continued her family's tradition of giving the little boy a name suitable for a future race car driver.

Bristol Palin, the 18-year-old daughter of former Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin, gave birth on Saturday to a healthy 7 lb., 7 oz., baby boy in Palmer, Alaska.

"We think it's wonderful," said Colleen Jones, the sister of Bristol's grandmother Sally Heath, who confirmed the news. "The baby is fine and Bristol is doing well. Everyone is excited."

The baby's name is Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston and he was born at 5:30 a.m., according to Jones.

Baby Tripp takes his surname from his dad, Levi Johnston, an apprentice electrician and former Wasilla High School hockey player who has been dating Bristol for three years.

Bristol Palin is currently residing in Wasilla and completing her high-school diploma through correspondence courses.

Johnston is studying to become an electrician. He told the Associated Press in October that he and fiancée Bristol plan to wed in 2009 and raise the child together.

I still say that the marriage won't take place. Sarah Palin intends on running for President in 2012, and being linked to someone with a drug arrest just won't do.

Caylee Anthony Update 29 December

Casey Anthony sits behind bars, charged with the murder of her daughter, Caylee Marie. Now an attorney tells MyFoxOrlando.com that Casey's brother, Lee Anthony, may also face charges.

Attorney Thomas Luka said that the State Attorney's Office could seek to charge Lee with obstruction of justice or aiding and abetting, even if was not Lee's intention to do so.

"It's an ongoing investigation, so no one really knows where it's going to lead. Mr. Anthony obviously wants his civil rights protected. Everyone involved in the case should have their rights covered when determining what the police can and can not do or should and should not expect from the witnesses involved in this case," Luka said.

Luka adds that neither Lee nor George and Cindy Anthony have been called as witnesses in the case, but they are preparing for just such a scenario.

For months Lee Anthony has been conducting his own investigation into the disappearance of Caylee, looking into leads for other suspects, Luka told MyFoxOrlando.com.

Luka contends that Lee has cooperated with detectives, even handing over a DNA sample. Luka describes his role an advisor to Lee, in determining what he should and should not say to investigators.

"For that reason, he feels at this point, now that the police are focusing completely on Casey, he wants to make sure that his own civil rights are protected," Luka said.

Luka wanted to put to rest any "cloud of impropriety and a cloud of rumor" surrounding donated money collected by Lee Anthony connected to the search for Caylee.

Since mid-July, when Caylee was first reported missing, thousands of dollars have been donated by strangers wanting to help locate the toddler. At one point, Lee was accused of using some of those funds inappropriately.

"There was no impropriety. There is a cloud of impropriety and a cloud of rumor that I think has been fueled by the non-expenditure of the funds, that has been following Mr. Anthony around," Luka said. "He wants to make it clear that no money has been improperly used."

Luka said financial statements from the fund were made public, linked to a memorial website in honor of Caylee. The Anthony family has said those donations have paid for everything from flyers and T-shirts with Caylee's picture to helping Lee in his own investigation.

"Again, when this investigation first began, we the public did not know who was responsible for Casey's disappearance. Mr. Anthony was going under the assumption she was kidnapped. He investigated that angle first and foremost."

There is still money left in the Help Find Caylee Anthony fund, but Luka would not say how much. "As far as I know, the money will be returned to the senders or individulas who have paid it."

As the defense team for Caylee has grown, questions have been raised as to if and how a team of high-profile forensic experts are being paid for their contributions.

The kind of defense assembled by Casey Anthony's attorney, Jose Baez, typically would not come cheap. While it is unknown whether any of the experts are being paid, what is known is that if Casey is convicted of first-degree murder, it is unlikely her legal team will be raking in the dough.

That would put to rest any rumors of a book or movie deal that could be in the works.

So far in addition to Baez, attorneys for the defense include Linda Kenny-Baden, famed attorney for record producer Phil Spector; Jose Luis Garcia; Jonathen Casen; and Mike Walsh. If the prosecution should seek the death penalty, Terance Lenamon could join the defense. There are also several scientific experts working the case for the defense.

"Are you going to do what is best in Ms. Anthony's interest, or what's going to get you on TV the most?" asked criminal defense attorney Richard Hornsby, citing one of the many questions posed to Baez by people who have been closely following the case.

Under Florida law, Baez would not be able to tell or sell his story for profit if his client is convicted, based on attorney-client privileges.

"If Ms. Anthony is convicted of anything, Mr. Baez and anybody who has worked on his defense will never be able to publicly speak about either what she said, what she talked about or how their defense was prepared. If they did, they could be sued," added Hornsby.

If Casey is acquitted of charges and she were to grant permission to Baez, then and only then could he make money from the case.

Hornsby said any money-making deal is not due-diligence for Casey. "Unless their people are truly doing this pro bono, there is probably some questionable things that have gone on regarding compensation," Hornsby said.

It is important to note that at the time of this publication, there had been no formal complaints filed against Baez about how he and his defense team was getting paid in their representation of Casey Anthony.

Well that puts to rest the "Lee may be Caylee's father rumor." You know you thought it too. Casey won't name the real father, and Casey+Lee= Caylee. But if he gave a DNA sample I'm sure the police have tested it to see if he is the father. And if he was it would have leaked to the media by now. Because if Casey pees it leaks to the media within hours

Money Train Has Ended For John Edward's Mistress

The alleged mistress of former presidential candidate John Edwards, Rielle Hunter, hasn't been getting her hush money since the man paying her died. According to that bastion of journalism, the National Enquirer she has had to move in with a friend she is so broke. I guess her mama never told her to stay away from married men because they always go back to their wives.

Say goodbye to Santa Barbara - hello bucolic New Jersey for Edwards' mistress Rielle Hunter!

After her $15,000 monthly payments stopped with the death of money man Fred Baron, John Edward's mistress blonde divorcee Rielle Hunter abandoned the lavish $3 million home that was being rented for her in ritzy Santa Barbara, California, sources tell The ENQUIRER.

Now she and her 10-month-old daughter Frances, who she privately says is Edwards' love child, are living with her longtime friend Mimi Hockman in South Orange, about 20 miles west of New York City, according to insiders.

It's the latest twist in what's been called the year's biggest political scandal, reported in a series of bombshell exclusives by The ENQUIRER.

After we revealed Edwards' affair with Hunter and published photos of him with the baby, the former North Carolina senator confirmed on national TV that he'd lied to the American public while running for president and had cheated on his cancer-stricken wife Elizabeth.

Edwards says he did not father Rielle's baby, but she has privately confided that Edwards is the father.

Fred Baron, a wealthy Dallas ex-trial lawyer and former national finance chairman for Edwards' failed presidential campaign, later admitted to paying Rielle's bills. But after he died on Oct. 30 from cancer complications, the payments stopped.

Caylee Anthony Update 26 December

Looks like someone else is tried the nanny took my baby nonsense.

Miami police say a 6-month-old baby boy who was reported missing was never really gone -- and didn't exist.A woman named Megan McCormic told police that a baby sitter never returned her 6-month-old. Police issued a missing child alert with a description of the baby and said that he may have been in the company of 20 to 30-year-old white female named "Camille," who had an unknown last name and spoke with a heavy French accent.

Police called off the search for Riley Buchness, who his mother said disappeared on Dec. 23. from his home at the 5000 block of Northwest 7th Street in Miami.Police said on Friday that McCormic was lying and used the fake existence of the baby to lure an ex-boyfriend from Boston, who had traveled to Miami to meet his supposed son.McCormic was arrested Friday morning on charges of giving false information to police officers. It is not clear whether she has an attorney.Police want McCormic to pay for the resources that were used to locate the supposed child. Nearly 20 detectives worked the case throughout all of Christmas Eve and Christmas.
source

Here is the background of the case
A frantic hunt stretched into the night Thursday for 6-month-old Riley Archer Buchness, who was last seen with his nanny Tuesday.

The nanny, known only as Camille, has not answered her cellphone or responded to text messages, police said.

The boy's parents said they last spoke with Camille on Tuesday, and when she didn't bring the boy back on Wednesday, they called police.

Authorities issued an Amber Alert for the 11-pound boy, who was wearing a white onesie and blue jeans, with his hair done in a Mohawk and a fake tattoo of an anchor on his left arm.

''Right now, detectives have worked around the clock and are desperately trying to locate Riley and bring him back home safely,'' said Willie Moreno, a Miami police spokesman.

``We ask Camille, we ask anyone in the community, if they've seen this person, if they know who Camille is, to please come forward.''

The boy's distraught parents made a similar plea to the news media Thursday.

''What I don't understand is it's Christmas,'' said the boy's father, John Buchness. ``Please return him. That's all we ask. We just want our son.''

''I don't even know if he's dead or alive,'' said his mother, Meagan McCormic. ``I don't know if they're in a car . . . I don't know where they are.''

Police said they had only a vague description of the nanny.

The boy's parents said they did not know Camille's last name.

They told authorities she lives somewhere along Biscayne Boulevard, although they have not been to her house. She drives a red Acura, possibly with a Massachusetts license plate, they said.

Here's what is known, according to police:

The young couple moved from Boston in September and were living in the 5000 block of Northwest Seventh Street. They knew Camille from Boston, where she had baby-sat for Riley.

Within the past month or two, she called to say she had moved to Miami and offered to watch the boy once again, the parents told police.

On Tuesday, they said, she was taking care of Riley and sent a text message to McCormic about 1 p.m. to say the baby had just woken up and she was going to bring him to her home.

This was not unusual, they said.

Two hours later, they said, Camille sent a text message saying she was running late and stuck in traffic.

By 5 p.m., when Camille had not dropped off the baby, McCormic called Camille to say she had to run out of the house and that Riley could stay at the baby sitter's. She asked that Camille drop him off by 3 p.m. Wednesday so they could take him to Georgia to see family.

On Wednesday, Camille still hadn't dropped Riley off at the house. She was not answering her cellphone or responding to text messages. At 8 p.m., the family called police.

''As of now we have been following any possible leads trying to find out who Camille is,'' Moreno said. The parents are not suspects at this point in the investigation, he said.

The parents described Camille as five feet six inches tall, weighing about 130 pounds, with dark brown hair halfway down her back and a gap between her teeth. She speaks with a heavy French accent.

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz (the tackiest husband alive) released a photo of little Bronx. He looks like a lot of other babies, but they all look alike at that age.

“We decided to share the best gift we could ever receive with you: Bronx Mowgli Wentz. We couldn’t be happier. And in the spirit of the holidays, we’d like to encourage you to give on your own. Caylee Anthony Update 24 December

Orange County Circuit Judge Stan Strickland granted the request by defense attorneys who say those and other items, such as microscopic slides and autopsy reports, are needed so defense experts can conduct their own autopsy. Last week, the chief medical examiner in Orlando ruled the death a homicide, but said how Caylee Anthony died may never be known.

Caylee was 2 when she went missing in the summer, but her remains were not found until this month. Her mother, Casey Anthony, has been charged with the girl's murder.

The attorney for the toddler's grandparents, George and Cindy Anthony, said a public memorial service will be held for the little girl. The grandparents planned to hold a private service and a public memorial for Caylee, said attorney Brad Conway.

Conway said the service won't be held until after a second autopsy on the remains is conducted.

A jail spokesman said Casey Anthony will not be able to attend a funeral or viewing for her daughter due to her charges and the associated safety and security risks.

Caylee's skeletal remains were found Dec. 11 by a meter reader in woods near the house where she lived with her mother and grandparents. The meter reader in August had phoned in his suspicions that something related to the case was in the swampy area. The Orange County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday released the 911 calls made by the meter reader, Roy Kronk, whose route covered the Anthony home and a school near the woods where he found the body.

The sheriff's office is investigating the response of deputies and dispatchers to those phone calls. A deputy came to the area after the first call but couldn't locate Kronk. The second call was referred to a tip line set up after Caylee's disappearance. A deputy met up with Kronk after the third call but cleared the scene as a place of interest.

In one of the August phone calls, Kronk described "something white and round" underneath a tree in the swamp. Kronk told the 911 dispatcher that he didn't want to get a better look of what it was because he feared rattlesnakes.

"I don't know what it is but it doesn't look like something that should be there," Kronk said.

In one of the calls, the dispatcher told Kronk to contact the tip line. Kronk was hesitant since he wanted to remain anonymous. The dispatcher assured him he could remain anonymous.

"Not if they find a freaking body," Kronk said.

Another Christmas Card

I received the coolest card yesterday.

Yep, that is a packet to make chili. How cool is that

You Too Can Own A Space Shuttle

If you have an extra $42million sitting around (plus $6million shipping and handling). NASA is selling off three of it's Space Shuttles after it ends the program in 2010.

"The NASA Administrator directed that a Request for Information (RFI) be issued to U.S. educational institutions, science museums and other organizations to gauge the level of interest in acquiring an Orbiter at the end of the program, and to notify potential recipients of NASA's intent to require potential recipients to assume all costs associated with transfer of these assets."

The RFI, it adds, is an attempt at "identifying whether potential recipient organizations are capable of bearing the full cost of Space Shuttle Orbiter safing and final display preparation, SSME assembly and final display preparation, and transportation."

NASA can no longer afford the cost of giving the Shuttles to museums. The $6 million is the cost of flying the Shuttle to its new location on the back of a special 747 aircraft.

Cycle Day 59

These are temperatures from the same time every morning before I get out of bed. I did oversleep day 49 & 53.

It looks like I may have ovulated, and the temps are rising slowly. My doctor said to give them a few days.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Gossip

There have a couple of stories floating around about the Jolie-Pitts. The first one is that Angelina Jolie is desperate to get Brad Pitt to marry her. And using the kids to get what she wants.

Angelina - who raises six children with the actor - is said to be desperate to wed, but Brad wants to attend couples counselling before they tie the knot.

A source told National Enquirer magazine: "Angelina proposed to Brad recently and suggested a Christmas wedding. When Brad insisted they hold off, Angelina put him on a major guilt trip by telling him the kids want them to be married.

"Brad thinks a wedding right now is biting off more than they can chew. He would like to slow down and go through some couples counseling. But Angelina is insisting they get married before they adopt again or have another biological baby."

It has also been claimed 33-year-old Angelina is undergoing fertility treatments in a bid to conceive a second set of biological twins with Brad, 45.

A source said: "Angelina's doctors told her she has a strong chance of conceiving twins if she does it within two years after having her first pair. She has been seeing a fertility doctor regularly. She and Brad are monitoring when she is fertile. And they are trying really hard in the bedroom!"

And here is the second bit of gossip:

Hollywood gossips claims Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are expecting their seventh child.

The glamorous actress had a slightly rounded tummy at the LA premiere of Brad's new movie, The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button, Woman's Day reports

The star is also believed to have paid a visit to her obstetrician, Dr Jason Rothbart, adding to the rumors.

"They don't use any birth control, so it's completely possible she is pregnant again," a close friend recently told In Touch magazine, adding that Angelina prefers "letting nature run its course" when it comes to family planning.

"If we're going to have 10 kids, we'd like to raise them while we're young," she said.

What close friend tells a gossip magazine that you're not using birth control. They wouldn't be a close friend for long. And aren't most obstetricians also gynecologists. Maybe she was just there for a check up, or maybe she was there for some birth control.

Michael Jackson Not Ill

A representative for Michael Jackson is denying that he is suffering from A1AD (alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency), which prevents the sufferer from producing a protein needed to protect the lungs.

Dr. Tohme Tohme released a statement saying, "The wild allegations concerning Mr. Jackson's health are a total fabrication. Concerning this author's allegations, we would hope in the future that legitimate media will not continue to be exploited by such an obvious attempt to promote this unauthorized 'biography'.

"Mr. Jackson is in fine health, and finalizing negotiations with a major entertainment company and television network for both a world tour and a series of specials and appearances."

Because he is broke and needs the money to pay for his stupid lifestyle.

Letterpress Calling Cards

These are the best calling cards for children that I have seen. They are deeply letterpressed into Crane paper (You know Crane, they make the paper for the money in your pocket.) The design by Fold Invites is so sophisticated you may just want to switch mom of for daughter of and use them for yourself. $250 for 100 over at Etsy.

Tooth Fairy Bag

Notion Farm has come up with an uber-cool tooth fairy set. The set comes with an official letterpress certificate from the Office of the Tooth Fairy and a reusable silkscreened bag. The certificate records the child's name, age, which tooth was lost and how it was lost, and how much the Tooth Fairy left the child.

Talk about bringing magic into a child's life. $16

Notion Farm just needs to offer refills for the certificates.

Caylee Anthony Update 23 December

The family of Caylee Anthony is making arrangements for her funeral after hearing the results no one wanted to hear: The missing toddler was the victim of a homicide.

Brad Conway, attorney and spokesman for Caylee's grandparents, George and Cindy Anthony, said the family is planning a private memorial, but they have not made any definite arrangements, because they are worried about media presence.

George and Cindy Anthony have not spoken to their daughter, Casey Anthony, who is charged with Caylee's murder, since human remains found in a wooded area near their home were identified Friday as the missing toddler.

Conway said Casey's parents want their conversations with her to be private.

Casey Anthony won't be able to attend her daughter's funeral.

According to Orange County Corrections, the level of her charges and the security risks she would pose by being out in public prohibit her from leaving jail.

Jail policy lists several conditions that automatically make an inmate ineligible to participate in escorted or unescorted leaves into the community.

Among those are people charged with Capital crimes, or those considered a security threat.

Casey is charged with first-degree murder in Caylee's death.

If you want to donate money to the Anthony family, beware: Several thieves are looking to cash in on the family's tragedy.

Conway said people are making money off the tragedy and not using it to benefit missing children or their families.

Conway said he will notify people on which organizations they should donate money to in Caylee's name.

The money in the original fund to help find Caylee Anthony is going to an organization that works to find missing children. The Anthony family has not yet chosen a specific group.

Rumor has it that the Anthonys will seek donations for the funeral from the public, the same public they don't want at the funeral. And why should Casey go to the funeral of the child she is accused of murdering. That's like letting a rapist go to counseling with the victim.

source

And did you see the National Enquirer story with Casey's "best friend", Kiomarie Torres Cruz saying that she could have saved Caylee by adopting her. Casey didn't want Caylee and wanted Kiomarie to adopt her, but Cindy put a stop to it. If Cindy Anthony hadn't put a stop to it the courts probably wouldn't have approved the adoption of child to a 19 or 20 year old. Sounds like a teen-age fantasy to me, you know birds of a feather flock together. Cindy probably just pointed out what a stupid plan it was to Casey.

And now she is selling her story to the National Enquirer. Don't think for one second that she told them her story for free. Click here from video of the interview.
