My Son's Cereal Theme Birthday Party

I threw my son a cereal theme party for his 10th birthday. I wanted an easy party to put together and clean up after . And what 10 year old boy doesn't love cereal.
It was super simple, just a few types of cereal, chocolate chips, blueberries, raisins, milk, orange juice, gummy bears and some other candies. I love sending home little kids on a sugar high. And there were small cups filled with yogurt and mini chicken and waffles. Nothing took longer than 10 minutes to prepare.
The favors were 16 ounce cups filled to the brim with candy. One little boy said it was just like Halloween. Parents around my neck of the woods aren't so anti-sugar.
I just set up some glass vases with everything in them on a table in the playroom. His Transformer collection had to be moved to Grandma's room, but everything turned out so well.

My Son's Birthday Party Invites

Here is the photo of my son's birthday party invitation. I printed the information on frosted sticker paper and applied it to mini cereal boxes. I then included a carton of Horizon Organic milk in a paper bag with a cardstock "M". The teacher handed the bags out after school to each kid in the class.
The project was extremely simple. Of course I only had to do a dozen, and my boyfriend helped.

Sneak Peak At The Invitations To The Extravaganza

Here is a sneak peak of my youngest son's birthday party invitation. You will never guess what is inside. I created the M by printing the letter on paper in a font size of 350, cutting it out, tracing it on to cardstock, and then cutting it out again. It is relatively simple (I'm not crafty).

Britney Spears Throws Birthday Party For Her Boys

Britney Spears threw a birthday party for her Irish twins, Sean Preston,3 and Jayden,2. The party had a car theme. We now know why Jamie Lynn brought her baby to Los Angeles.
Britney revved up the celebration for sons Preston and Jayden on Saturday, throwing her sons a joint car and truck-themed birthday bash in Los Angeles.
And the party was truly a family affair.
Spears celebrated her boys' special days – Preston turns 3 on Sept. 14, and Jayden turned 2 on Sept. 12 – with sister Jamie Lynn Spears, her newborn niece Maddie Briann, dad Jamie and mom Lynne.
Held at close friend Adrienne Maloof-Nassif's Beverly Park house, the outdoor party drew some famous guests, including Jenny McCarthy with her son Evan, and Gwen Stefani's son Kingston, 2, who came to the bash from an equally starry affair: He celebrated Heidi Klum's son Henry's 3rd birthday at the model's Beverly Hills house along with all three of Victoria Beckham's sons.
But the guests of honor seemed to be having the best time. Preston and Jayden drove around the party in mini motorized cars, which were customized Ed Hardy by Christian Audigier. The cars featured tattoo-inspired decals, Ed Hardy air fresheners and personalized license plates. To keep with the party's theme, the cake was in shape of a yellow truck.
"The boys received tons of birthday gifts," a source told PEOPLE. "Britney and her family really made the party special for the boys."
