Caylee Anthony Update 20 December
Officials at the Orange County Jail said a chaplain broke the news to Casey Anthony that her daughter's remains had been identified Friday.
"Inmate Casey Anthony is aware of the developments in her case," said Orange County Jail spokesman Allen Moore. "She was notified by a jail chaplain as is consistent with our policy. The notification came at approximately 1:45 p.m."
The public was told at a 2 p.m. news conference.
"We will not be commenting on the demeanor of inmate Anthony or her reaction to the news and do not have any public records related to this matter," Moore said.
He added that the jail has an in-house psychologist available to Anthony, if needed.
Anthony happened to be meeting with a member of her defense team, Jose Garcia, when she was told about her daughter.
Later, Anthony declined a visit from her pastor, Shane Stutzman, after the sheriff's office made the announcement that the bones belonged to her daughter.
She was meeting with Garcia and attorney Jose Baez and Jose Garcia during the time that Stutzman had scheduled his visit.
Moore said Anthony is not on suicide watch and is not on psychological observation status. She remains in Protective Custody Level One in the Female Detention Center. There has been no change in her custody status.
She probably didn't want to see her family pastor because he would be able to comment on her reaction. She already knew that her daughter was dead. That crazy cow probably went back to doing whatever she was doing.
The irony is that she probably killed Caylee because she resented Caylee and didn't want to be hindered by having to care for a toddler. But she's sitting in jail now. Her plan didn't work out too well. And if she walks, she will forever be branded a murderer and a thief. Most people will shun her, so she will never get the life she killed for.
And at least the Anthony's statement didn't mention Casey. We should do what they ask pray for other missing children.
