ORANGE COUNTY, FL -- Celebrity bounty hunter Leonard Padilla says Casey Anthony made self-incriminating statements to one of his associates about her missing daughter, Caylee.
Appearing on CNN's Nancy Grace program, Padilla said Casey made the comments to Tracy McLaughlin, who was living with the Anthony family after Padilla bonded Casey out of jail.
He said McLaughlin told investigators that Casey was critical of the people looking for Caylee saying, "They haven't even found the clothes she was wearing."
Padilla told Nancy Grace the statement is an indication that Casey knows the location of the clothes, and her daughter.
"It definitely brought our attention to the fact that at that point in time she was making a statement," Padilla said.
Padilla is claiming that Casey made the statement at a time that he was all over tv defending Casey. Did he tell the police of the statement at the time? If he thought that Casey was making statements that indicated that she was guilty why didn't he revoke her bond then? But did he do those things no. He was publicly stating that he thought Casey was innocent. He's just as confused as Cindy, and it is time for him to bow out of the spotlight because the case isn't about him.
