Polaroid PoGo Instant Camera
In an effort to keep fans that they lost when they discontinued manufacturing instant film, Polaroid has produced a camera that combines a 5 megapixel digital camera with PoGo technology for instant printing without a computer connection. The camera also has a 3 inch screen. The ink free pictures take about 40 seconds to print. And you can print up to 20 pictures per battery charge.
Now if they could just find a way to do all the fun things that you could do with Polaroid film. I loved doing Polaroid transfers. That was one of the fun things about instant film, you could remove the photo from it's backing and transfer it to paper. The whole look is dreamy and soft. And it is a relatively easy project, not at all as difficult as it sounds. Even I could do it, and I'm not crafty. At least Fuji is keeping instant film alive.
