If a local TV station carries Caylee Anthony's memorial, Casey Anthony will be allowed to watch from jail, WESH-Channel 2 reported Monday night.
A corrections official shared the information, but didn't want to discuss specifics on camera, Bob Kealing reported.
Casey Anthony is accused of first-degree murder in her daughter's death. The memorial expected to be held later this month after the defense team completes its work on the toddler's remains.
In releated news, Jose Baez, Casey's criminal attorney, has set up a new tipline for information on where Caylee's body was found: 407-442-2814.
On WKMG-Channel 6, Mike DeForest reported that the defense team acknowledges, in court papers, that Casey could face the death penalty now that the toddler's body has been found.
An Orange County civil judge scolded attorneys for Casey Anthony and warned them not to make any "personal" attacks against the lawyers representing Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez -- the woman suing her for defamation. The chastising came this morning during a brief meeting to discuss a motion to block a deposition of Anthony scheduled for Monday.
"It distracts from the law," said Orange Circuit Court Judge Jose R. Rodriguez.
Fernandez-Gonzalez, 37, of Kissimmee is suing Anthony for defamation, saying the suspect's statements to investigators in July have ruined her reputation. One of Anthony's attorneys - Jonathan Kasen - wrote in the motion filed last month that the suit was filed for "the purpose of generating publicity for the plaintiff's law firm, Morgan & Morgan." Rodriguez told Anthony's attorneys to stop the attacks.
Anthony, 22, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of her daughter Caylee Marie. In July, she told investigators that she left the toddler with a babysitter named Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez and when she returned later that day -- both were gone.
Authorities questioned 37-year-old Fernandez-Gonzalez, who told them she didn't know Anthony or her child.
Anthony's attorney wants the judge to postpone Monday's deposition until her criminal case is complete.A hearing is set for Thursday morning.
Well if that isn't the pot calling the kettle black. If this case wasn't all over the news Jose Baez would have dropped Casey as a client the minute he realized that he wouldn't be getting paid.
