Call it love, Duggar style.
Even though they've only been married a little over three months, Joshua and Anna Duggar are looking forward to building a family like his parents' – Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar of Tontitown, Ark. – who recently celebrated the birth of their 18th child.
"Married life has been great," Joshua, who runs his own car dealership in Springdale, Ark., tells PEOPLE. "It's definitely quieter than being in a house with so many kids. When I go to the grocery store, it feels strange only having one shopping cart."
And Anna (formerly Keller), who is one of eight children, is struggling with newlywed laundry and cooking: "I don't know how to do just one or two loads of laundry a week instead of one or two loads a day and I'm having a hard time figuring out how to cook for only two people."
Joshua and Anna, who married on Sept. 26, 2008, at Buford Grove Baptist Church in Hillard, Fla., near the bride's hometown of Gainesville, promised as part of their wedding vows to leave the decision on how many children the couple will have "up to God." Josh and his parents' jumbo-sized crew is currently featured on TLC's 17 Kids and Counting.
"I would welcome a big family," Joshua says. "My parents have been wonderful examples." Adds Anna: "I would love to have as many children as God would bless us with. Growing up in a large family, and Joshua in a mega-family, you learn so much more. I think a large family helps you prepare for life."
Their wedding ceremony, which features all the Duggar and Keller clans and the couple's very first kiss, will air on TLC on Jan. 25 at 9 p.m. Season two of the series premieres on Jan. 27 at 9 p.m.
I wouldn't be surprised if she wasn't already pregnant. They are both young, and we know that they probably aren't using birth control. I predict that they will make Michelle a grandma before she is pregnant and gives birth to number 19. The race is on. Do you think that Michelle will slow down once the grandbabies start coming?
