Shauna Sand took out a temporary restraining order against her estranged husband, Romain Chavent. Among the claims is that he beat her in front of her daughters. But the most damaging claim is that he threatened to sell nude photos of the children he took while babysitting. She was granted an order until the 22 December hearing. The couple go back and forth filing TRO all the time, they never get the permanent order. Sand threatened to ruin his life once.
The extraordinary thing is that she stayed with him after she claims he took the photos. Why hasn't she gone to the police? Remember the big stink that was made after someone stole a photo of Jamie Lynn Spears breastfeeding. The four words: child, nude, photos, and sell would insure his arrest. If Chavent did take the photos he needs to be in jail.
And if he didn't she needs to face the consequences of her perjury. Because that is what she has done, she filed a false statement with the court. And it is not a harmless false statement. It could ruin his life. And if it makes it a little harder for the next person whose child really has been abused.
And her ex-husband, Lorenzo Lamas needs to be filing his own court papers soon. Because this woman doesn't seem fit to have custody of her daughters either way. Either she is lying and placing them in the middle of what could be a silly, bitter divorce. (Hopefully this is what happened for their sakes.) Or she let them remain in the home with a man who took nude photos of them and threatened to sell them to perverts. (No press outlet would buy the photos, they are child porn.)
