Will the economy put an end to the luxury stroller market? The market for $700-$1000 strollers has to be shrinking by the minute. First there was the news that Peg Perego Skate Elite and 4Moms Origami have both been delayed. The Skate Elite won't be coming out until 2010. And now the news that New Zealand based Mountain Buggy has gone into receivership. Receivership is when a company is reorganized for sale. It's not exactly bankruptcy, but it is close. The company will not be laying off any of its workforce and will be honoring warranties.
