Orbit Baby is finally about to introduce the toddler car seat. They are saying February, but in infant product time that probably means May. It can be used with or without the base. You can leave your toddler in it rear facing until 35 pounds, or it can be used like a conventional car seat until 49 pounds. I think extended rear use is the wave of the future. The seat can also be used with the infant system stroller, which would be great for travel.$300
