Mom Style

I'm praying for rain. I bought a pair of neon pink Rainy Day flats from J.Crew. I intend on wearing them with a black trench coat with a polka dot lining. The pop of color is enough to brighten up the grayest of days, and I love, love, love the grosgrain bow. $55 (But it's more like $70 once you pay tax and shipping. I recommend waiting for free shipping and a sale. I just had to have them though.)

Now if only I could justify spending $129 on my dream umbrella.

Pretty Pink Ballet Slippers

I have a sudden urge to buy a dainty pair of pink ballet slippers. They probably wouldn't hold up to much walking, but would probably be great for someone indoors a lot.

Bloch Proform, $25.50.

Leo's Airabesque, $23.90.
More shoes below.

Capezio Juliet, $38.

Bloch Dansoft, $22.40.

Bloch Neo Hybrid, $35.

Elephantito Baby Sandals

Spring has sprung. Well, here in my neck of the woods it is almost 100 degrees. And there is nothing cuter than a child in traditional sandals on a warm day. These sandals by Elephantito have a soft sole, so that baby can be cute and comfortable. $35

Products I'm Loving

I've started shopping for my boys' back to school wardrobe. I don't buy that much because it is still around a hundred most days. So it would be a waste to buy a cute Fall wardrobe when it won't be cool until the end of October. That's when I do the majority of my buying, when they actually need a Winter wardrobe. Now I'm just buying Summer items on sale. I bought these Polo Ralph Lauren sneakers for my oldest. He has a wide foot and they still fit. And they are nice and traditional looking. I don't buy shoes endorsed by athletes. On sale for just $49.99 (originally $79).

Baby Shoe Portraits

This is a cute way to preserve baby shoes instead of having them bronzed. You send your baby's shoes to Alisha Ard and she paint a portrait of them. It takes the concept of keepsake to a whole new level. And the portraits may just be the perfect Mother's Day gift. $120-250.

J.Crew Jelly Ballet Flats

Now that it has pretty much stopped raining, I have found the perfect rain shoes. But I will be stocking up anyway. The bright colours will look perfect with my black trench, and the rain will come again. $45 J.Crew (because we are a preppy family). And the smoky jeweled pair for $59.50 would be the perfect pick me up on a particularly dreary day.
