Mario Kart for Wii is a great game for kids. It is so simple for them to play. The steering wheel looks easy to use too. Heck, I think even I could play. And I haven't played a video game since I lost at Miss PacMan in the early eighties. I'm still holding a grudge and mourning my wasted quarters.
