Nearly three weeks after Haleigh Cummings disappeared from her Satsuma home, investigators are no closer to finding the missing 5-year-old girl than when she disappeared without a trace.
After meeting with an investigator, Haleigh's maternal grandmother, Marie Griffis, said, "He point-blank told us: 'We have no clues.'"
Investigators say they've received several thousand leads, but nothing substantial. They say they're receiving around 100 tips every day
Late last week, cadaver dogs were brought in to scour the area near Haleigh's home. No clues were found, which gave family members hope she's alive.
Haleigh was featured Saturday night on the FOX TV show 'America's Most Wanted' with the hope that someone who normally doesn't watch the news might know something.
The girl was discovered missing in the early morning hours of Febrary 11. Detectives believe she was abducted.
Griffis told WJXT, "Whoever might have Haleigh, please just take her somewhere. Call 911 and say 'I'm dropping this child off her,' and drop her off and go."
Has anyone thought about what if the 17year old girlfriend is lying about the last time they saw Haleigh. Something just isn't right with her story.
